Services Overview

The Indiana Health Information Exchange offers the DOCS4DOCS® clinical messaging service, which electronically delivers lab and test results securely and efficiently. The organization also offers the Quality Health First SM program, a disease management service that is supported by an aggregated repository built by the Regenstrief Institute. The organization also participates in many federally-funded activities to help support the growth and development of health information exchanges as well as housing the Indianapolis Coalition for Patient Safety.  Currently 39 hospitals in Indiana are committed to using IHIE's services. The DOCS4DOCS® service provides communities with a single source for clinical results including laboratory, radiology, transcriptions, pathology, cardiology and admission / discharge / transfer information. We have delivered over 30 million messages for our clients. Learn more .

The Quality Health First SM program , a clinical quality program for health and chronic disease management, is built upon technology developed at the Regenstrief Institute that securely aggregates and accurately delivers lab results, reports, medication histories, treatment histories and more across all providers, regardless of hospital system or location. The community service aggregates this information to provide physicians with reports, alerts and reminders to help monitor patients' health and wellness, including the management of common, chronic diseases.
