INDIANA HEALTH INFORMATION EXCHANGE NAMED ONE OF MODERN HEALTHCARE’S BEST PLACES TO WORK IN HEALTHCARE 2015Indianapolis, Indiana (September 8, 2015) — Modern Healthcare has named the Indiana Health Information Exchange (IHIE) among the 100 companies and organizations on its “Best Places to Work in Healthcare for 2015.” IHIE is one of only three Indiana-based organizations, and the only health information exchange organization in the country, to make the list.
As the nation’s largest health information exchange, IHIE seamlessly provides clinical data where and when it is needed to improve patient care and support better health outcomes. IHIE’s robust and secure system is one of the best examples to demonstrate the national goal of healthcare “interoperability” by connecting separate technology solutions, providers, payors and others seamlessly to exchange and interpret data.
“Our work allows us to conceive and develop creative, unique solutions to support the needs of our customers today and respond to changes in healthcare,” said John Kansky, President and CEO of IHIE. “But more than anything, it is satisfying to know that our work can make a real difference in the lives of patients.”
