Systems Administrator (Linux)
Summary:
  This position provides information technology support in the business operations processes to accomplish IHIE goals and objectives.

Essential Functions:

Essential functions include the following.  Other duties may be assigned.
1.  Establishes and maintains knowledge of the Operations and Administration solutions to effectively troubleshoot problems
2.  Performs monitoring functions for Operations and Administration systems
3.  Establishes, maintains, documents and mentors knowledge of operational processes supporting IHIE business in Windows OS and Linux environments
4.  Monitors systems for operational uptime and respond to downtime events, maintains sufficient logs to report uptime statistics
5.  Maintains records and prepares periodic and special reports of work performed
6.  Performs server maintenance and troubleshooting including software security patches, operating system updates, performance tuning, log analysis, maintaining application updates and bug fixes
7.  Executes software applications in support of the achievement of business
8.  Provide support to end users of application systems in the area of application and report development
9.  Trouble-shoots day-to-day problems with applications
10.  Uses continuous improvement techniques to analyze and improve performance and processes
11.  Adheres to patient and physician privacy and confidentiality regulations
12.  Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned

Qualification Requirements:

Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field or equal experience

Experience:
• 4+ years experience in computer applications development and data management analysis
• 5+ years hands-on experience in network computer environment establishing and troubleshooting issues on Linux systems
• Experience with enterprise level administration tools to manage and monitor a robust Linux environment
• Exposure to virtual environments, preferably VMware vSphere
• Experience creating and maintaining server scripts to perform routine maintenance tasks
• Experience working with the following on Linux: Apache, Tomcat, JBoss and Database (MySql, PostgreSQL)
• Experience with Linux authentication processes.

Application Development Supervisor
IHIE is seeking an energetic Application Development Supervisor to join our organization.  This person will serve as not only a technical expert but also as a solid communicator, team advocate, and coach for the Analyst/Programmer team.  The Application Development Supervisor will be an authentic, passionate leader that will uphold the IHIE vision.

Summary:  This position has responsibility for supervision of the application design, and development and as well as managing the Analyst/Programmer team.  Responsible for providing technical guidance for application design and coding standards and supervising the day-to-day tasks of the Analyst/Programmer team to keep focus on high priority items and maintain an appropriate level of quality of development.

Essential Functions:

Essential functions include the following.  Other duties may be assigned.
1. Provides guidance on application feature design and development of new features
2. Identifies issues encountered by Analyst/Programmer team and provides resolution or an escalation point
3. Allocates tasks to Analyst/Programmer team based on priorities set by the leadership and management team
4. Develops system to document and maintain knowledge base information and other documentation
5. Completes supervisory tasks for the Analyst/Programmer team including but not limited to setting goals, setting priorities, directing work, and managing day to day employee issues
6. Manages team training plans and mentors direct reports for career development
7. Reports project status to colleagues, leadership team, and clients as needed
8. Enforces quality standards including coordinating with QA team for product function and testing
9. Works with Solution Development Manager to recommend product, process, and tooling improvements

Qualification Requirements:

Education:
• Must have at least an Associate’s degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school;  Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university in a technical field preferred

Experience:
• 5+ years experience in the design and development of applications AND at least one year experience directly managing employees and projects

Systems Analyst
Summary:
This position investigates and troubleshoots potential issues with systems.  The position also works to identify root causes of problems and recommends solutions.  This position provides appropriate information for Client Services staff to contact customers about issues and also works with application developers on possible solutions to problems.

Essential Functions:

Essential functions include the following.  Other duties may be assigned.
1. Reviewing HL7 messages and troubleshooting format and/or content issues.
2. Reviewing other data/files that are sent to IHIE for format and/or content issues.
3. Reviewing customer issues and troubleshooting possible problems in applications.
4. Defining detailed requirements for solutions to problems or new features.
5. Developing and maintaining knowledge base information and other documentation.

Qualification Requirements:

Education
• 2+ years formal training or education in computer science or technology or equivalent experience


Experience
• 1+ years experience troubleshooting complex applications; reviewing data file content and format

Skills
• Demonstrated understanding of database and application concepts such as (but not limited to): relationship databases, data load processes, data mapping/transformations
• Demonstrated ability to learn and understand complex technology processes
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot problems to find root causes

Project Manager
Summary:  This position will be responsible for project planning, estimating and tracking of projects. This includes working closely with Client Services, partner organization(s), and external customers and vendors. This position will include managing a variety of client, technical and operational projects.

Qualification Requirements:

Research and Client Advocate
Summary: Extensively researches physician information for updates, issues and scheduling trainings for new and existing offices, and updating systems accordingly.  Supports and assists the Application Specialists. Answers incoming calls and e-mails related to customer support issues and standards.

Essential Functions:

Essential functions include the following.  Other duties may be assigned.

1. Provides application help desk support via phone and email for all IHIE applications to end-users and healthcare providers including answering various Tier 1 technical questions
2. Extensively researches existing/updated provider files including verifying provider information via internet, email, and/or phone, and entering confirmed data into proprietary systems and/or Excel spreadsheets 
3. Recognizes when technical issues must be handed off to technical staff and escalates issues as appropriate
4. Promotes and maintains close communication with the Client Services organization 
5. Schedules trainings and other events for other Client Services staff
6. Performs various data entry tasks
7. Maintains FaxUtility; includes research of failed faxes and follow up as necessary
8. Provides communication on project status as necessary

Qualification Requirements:

Education:
• High School Diploma required, additional education or training preferred

Experience:
• Minimum two years customer service experience, customer service in a healthcare-related environment a plus

Characteristics and Skills:

Summary:
 
The Client Success Manager will lead and manage the Implementation Consultant team through strong leadership skills, fostering an environment of teamwork, and striving for continuous improvement.  This role will champion the IHIE client success philosophy to provide the best in client service.
