Chris Schultz
Mr. Schultz is the Vice President of Clinical Quality Services for the Indiana Health Information Exchange, the nation's largest health information exchange organization. He leads the organization's quality improvement service, which combines a preventive health and chronic disease patient management service with a pay-for-value program from payers to align physician reimbursement with improvements in patient outcomes. IHIE connects the state's hospitals, physicians, long-term care facilities and other healthcare providers, enabling medical information to follow patients regardless of treatment location to improve care coordination and patient outcomes. Physicians in the IHIE network provide care to over ten million patients.Previously, Mr. Schultz was a consultant and Director in Information Technology for Conseco Health and Life Insurance Company in Carmel, Indiana. He was an IT and business operations Director for Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield of Indiana for over 30 years. Mr. Schultz has a firm background in health claims management and processing, and a wealth of electronic systems development and project management experience.
Mr. Schultz received his MBA from Indiana Wesleyan University, and his BS in Supervision Technology and AAS in Computer Technology degrees from Purdue University.
